A magical place with magical people. Beautiful property and a solid program. I've been to treatment all over the state and country, thankfully, this was my last. I have 16 months and this has been my most wonderful recovery... grateful for The Last Resort!

We referred a staff member’s family member to the last resort. The staff communicated very well, not only with the family, but with us. We appreciate the support that was given to our staff member’s loved one. Given what they were going through, our staff member had a sense of peace, knowing their loved one was in good hands.

I entered The Last Resort in January of 2016 with the feeling that I did not want to and could not get sober. To be succinct, I had given up hope. I found hope and so much more at the Last Resort. I got out in April of 2016 and have been sober since. Life is good and I am grateful.

I cannot say enough good about this place. I only wish I could give it more stars. ALL of the staff is very polite and friendly (its Texas, c’mon). I feel as though I’ve been given a new start with my son. Thank You TLR and I KNOW there’s a place for Chris Shanks in heaven! He’s a great counselor and great communicator keeping you in the loop EVERY step of the way. Thanks Again and God Bless you guys!

Class Acts. True professionals. Experts. Transparent. These are the phrases that come to mind when one thinks of TLR. This part of the country is truly blessed to have the folks at TLR. Peter and his team meet clients and their families where they are and bring them back to center. Food is ok.

The last resort was a wonderful place to start my life over. I began working the 12 steps there. I still work the twelve steps. Between my counselor there and the gentleman who walked me through the steps ( recovery specialist ), because i was willing I was able to open up and do some much needed work. I had a life changing experience there. I wouldn't trade that experience for anything.

The Last Resort helped me pick up the pieces of the broken life I had been living. After multiple failed attempts of trying to get sober through detoxes, other treatment facilities, and trying to work a program of recovery on my own, The Last Resort gave me the tools to live a recovered lifestyle. They have an amazing 12 step based program in addition to an extremely unique clinical program. The Last Resort is truly Where Men Recover.
