This place has treated me with dignity and I appreciate the care that I received and I have only good things to say about their php program. I was in a very depressed and difficult place in my life which I felt hopeless about everything. Cypress Creek Hospital tremendously helped me with my depression, self esteem and negative thoughts. I can say you just have to get whatever you come into get treated for then other things won’t bother you.

A family member was admitted 5 days ago. It took 3 hours, but we both were given an evening dinner, which was extremely kind. A main goal is to get a correct diagnosis, which is being accomplished. He forgot to bring one prescription medicine with him, a mood stabilizer, which he badly needs now. I took the medicine in its prescription bottle, but he has not been given any of it because he was told that a doctor has to OK it first. A doctor is on call because the other doctor is on vacation, but he has yet to see any medical doctor. He has seen a nurse practitioner once, who says she cannot give him this medicine until she talks to a doctor. I don't understand why it is taking several days. My family member woke up in his room with his glasses missing. He told the staff at the desk, and they handed him his glasses. They said they were found near the elevator. A staff member told him that perhaps she had picked them up in his room thinking that they were hers, then dropped them out of her pocket near the elevator. Really? You pick up someone's glasses and you don't realize they're not yours, then you drop them at the elevator? I don't think this is showing professional responsibility, or else he was told a story that is not factual. He said that other patients saw the glasses and asked, "Whose glasses are those?" What if they had been stepped on and broken, or taken and kept by someone else? Would my family member have been blamed for losing them? Lastly, I left $8.00 cash for him at the front desk to buy a drink from the vending machines. It was picked up by his Unit 4 two days ago, but he was never told that he had money available to him. He was told that the cafeteria vending machines aren't available due to remodeling, which is true. But he was not told that a staff member could go to another vending machine to buy an item for him, which is what the hospital main front desk told me when I called today to ask why he didn't have his money, or if vending machines are available. These things are important to me in what reputation I get of the staff. I think good strides are being made by the therapists my family member sees, and it's hopeful that progress is continued. But it's not so good when I have several experiences such as listed here that makes me wonder why such things happen with staff members. I don't like to see people treated like this.

Good afternoon. I just wanted to put something positive about my experience with Cypress Creek. We have been trying to get my mother the help she needs even when she says she is fine and it is us that have a problem for years now and hitting brick walls. We got very lucky and another hospital recognized it and contacted us and explained she would be taken to Cypress Creek. I have made several phone calls with concern that my mother gets the help that she needs knowing she will not give them the most important information that they need to help her and the Lady I spoke with last night in admissions was very nice and pleasant and transferred me to someone so that I could give them information I hope that helps my mother. Now I know they can not give me any information on her per laws and I explained that can't even say if she is there I know from the hospital she was at. She transferred me to a nurses station I believe her name was Carol(Thank you for listening to me I am sure I was going in circles making sure I didn't leave anything out)I said if she is there here is information that you will need and the I left all the information I knew. Today I needed to call back and the lady at admissions was very pleasant and helpful. I just wanted them to know this I wish I remembered everyone's name I have spoken with and I am sorry I do not. My hope is that the information I left will help them help my mother. We as a family have been going though this for years and we know she will not be the same mother that my sister and I grew up with but we need Wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Aunt and Great Aunt better so we can show her we love her and want to help her. Thank you for your time and please if there is anyway you can find out who I spoke with let them know their answering and listening on the phone to me that they care and are there to help people. I called 7/17 @10:33 the lady at admin. and Carol then just called at 11:58 Both ladies took my mothers name down. Please Please thank them and I hope and pray that this will help her 72 Hr evaluation is where are are at and not real sure what that means and will do. Thank you again.

I had to give an updated review of this place. I have to say their is no place that I can think on this side of eternity which you can say is perfect. I can say their are rotten apples out of the bunch at this hospital. Just be cautious of certain individuals in this hospital;otherwise, you will be subjected to a lot more problems than you originally came in.

In all fairness, for those of you that are reading this and have a loved that needs to be stabilized/admitted...this stabilization hospital served it's purpose for our son and I give 5 stars because my son received exactly what he needed there. Here is the truth: he said the food was not good and it was very cold/sterile in there with not much to do (agreed on the coldness), BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY the Staff, Doctor's and Therapists did take care of what he needed! He was evaluated and given immediate care for his circumstance. In the few days he was there, he also took with him a few very valuable thoughts/skills from therapy! I was impressed. Definitely not a warm environment outside of the Dr/Therapist care, but the hope is that your loved one will get the outside care that is recommended and not have to return...My son is doing so much better now and I think his stay at Cypress Creek helped him he realize that he needed some help to get back on the right side of life! Remember this, their goal is to get your loved back out in the real world seeking the right help there...what hospital is cozy and warm - zero in my opinion.

This is a 10/10 !! I have been to a hospital in the past for Bipolar and I'll list the things I loved at Cypers Creek. 1. No hospital food it's a cafeteria. 2. Smoking breaks for those over 18. 3. After a few days on a unit I became 100% confertable with other patiense's and all staff. Thanks to Cypers Creek I'M A 100% BACK IN THE GAME !!!!!

I've been going there for 7 weeks total. I've been extremely grateful for the entire staff there. I was inpatient 6 days and that was a great opportunity to cope with my situation. After the 6 days i was discharged and was placed in pho. This is an outpatient program, group therapy. It's from 9am-2:30pm. I did that for 2 weeks and then was dropped down to IOP, also an outpatient program which runs from 9am-12pm. During that period of group therapy, I learned A LOT of things and ways to deal with my depression. The therapist tgere are amazing and truly care for the well-being of their patients. I highly recommend this place. Thanks to them, I feel like I can get back to my normal routine.

I have to say the service you get at this hospital is barnone. The psychiatrists, nurses, techs, therapist, cafeteria and custodial staff are all hardworking and dedicated professionals. I would recommend going in with an open mind and I suggest being receptive to the care offered. You always win with a positive attitude. I have to give praise to my psychiatrist Dr Challapalli who is a caring and an amazing physician.

Very hard to get visitation. Dr has to.approve all visits. Drove around 3 hours only to be told Dr hadn't came in for several days so I couldn't see my Juvenile child

Was there for five days! Dr Lucas is wonderful and very knowledgeable about diagnosing you. I would like more groups, not enough groups for people that are trying to receive help. Find that there are more idle time, no activities for the patients. NOTHING! You stare at the walls and each other all day! Giving three stars because of Dr Lucas, Q (tech) and Nurse Celestine.
